Day 1: Shimla
Pickup from Delhi and transfer to Shimla. It is former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow-capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. It is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities.Arrive Shimla Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, evening enjoy at Mall road. Later back to hotel. Overnightstay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla – Kufri - Shimla
After breakfast, visit to half day city tour visiting Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple. Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri. KUFRI is India's one of the best holiday paradise. Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“THE MALL & THE RIDGE”. This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Overnight stay at Shimla. Day 3: Kullu - Manali
After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Manali. It is the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station situated at a height of 2050 m (6398 ft.) in the Himalayas. Situated on the Beas river (Vyaas in Hindi) and near its source, it is a popular tourist spot for Indians in summer and a magical, snow-covered place in winter. A staging point for a number of treks (Beas Kund, Chandrakhani Pass) and sports such as white-water rafting, Manali is also on the road to Ladakh via the valley of Lahaul and Spiti and Rohtang pass which is main attraction near Manali.Arrive at Manali and check-in the hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure and to visit the local markets. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Manali
After breakfast visit to city tour. Visit “HADIMBA TEMPLE” built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Visit CLUB HOUSE with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHISHT” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisht and to Lord Rama. Evening you can enjoy at mall road, later back to hotel and free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel at Manali.(Hadimba Devi Temple, Club House, Manu Temple, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery & Vashisht Bath Hot Spring Water)
Day 5: Manali
After early breakfast, visit to Kothi Gorge, Sollang Valley. Carry warm clothes like hand gloves, muffler, sweater, shawl, socks & sports shoes etc. Overcoats and shoes are available on hire. Please note that due to heavy snow covering the road, this pass is not accessible during heavy snow fall for Snow Point, and Sollang Valley. Later back to hotel. Evening free for leisure andOvernight stay at hotel at Manali.
Day 6: Dalhousie
After breakfast, check-out from hotel - depart for Dalhousie. Situated at 2039 mtr in the outer slopes of the Dhaula Dhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day for leisure and shopping.Visit Local Sightseeing. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Day 7: Dalhousie - Khajjiar
After Breakfast, Full day sightseeing to Khajjiar & Kalatope. Khajjiar is 25 kms from Dalhousie. It’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the centre with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. Khajjiar is often referred to as "Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh". Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Day 8: Amritsar
After breakfast, check-out from hotel, drive to Amritsar. The city of Amritsar is a glittering showcase of compound traditions and secular culture.Evening visit to Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Visit to the city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs. It is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. Later evening, back to hotel and free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel at Amritsar.
Day 9: Departure transfer
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to Delhi Airport / Railway station for your onward journey and back to home with sweet memories of your trip with tripmustr.
